Documents can easily get lost if you don't have good protection on your site. Some of those files might be stored in your computer and easily replaceable, but what about the rest of them? Long-term sites have a lot of data and have made a number of documents. Recreating all that would be a nightmare, and not something any business owner wants to do.

There are ways to pull off this, and a lot of them involve re-establishing more and databases and FTPing files, exporting and copying. Some of them are very complicated, so it's imperative that you select the right one. Then you may want to look into using a plugin for WordPress backups if you are not of the persuasion.

It's a WordPress plugin. They are drop dead simple to set up, have all the functions you need for a job such as this, and are relatively inexpensive, especially when compared to having to employ someone to get this done for you.

Oh . And incidentally, I talked about plugins. Make sure it's a safe one, when you get a plugin. Do not install any plugin because the owner is saying on his site that plugin can help you do that or this. Use perhaps, or a test site to look at the plugin get a software engineer to examine it. This way isn't a threat for you or your business.
